It's that feeling you've had all your life. That feeling that something was wrong with the world. You don't know what it is but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad, driving you to me. But what is it?

--Morpheus, from the Matrix

Aren't we all trapped in the same machine.

It's the entire system. We are doing this work because it's good for us. And it will guarantee us success in the system for all our days ahead. All must follow the path because it is the only route to success. The only route to a comfortable life.

Comfortable, perhaps, but will we be happy?

Some will. Those who don't realise anything about the system. And they really can't be blamed for it. They've been born into the system, slaves to it, their whole lives, so much that they don't even realise what they're doing anymore.

But there is no freedom. We must all conform. Do what we are asked to. And if refuse? Why, we will simply fail and be.......eliminated from the competition.

As the system dictates.

The system does not take kindly to those who utilise other methods.

"Yes, you are allowed to say, and do, whatever you wish to."

Within the limits of the system.

We may go that way, yes.

But through all the rest of our lives we will be ostracised, unappreciated, and despised by the system.

So it is only those who have sufficient ability who can break away. Others, who have the spirit but not the talent....they will be crushed.

All of them.

Do you believe in fate?

No.

Why not?

Because I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of my life.

you'll only be controlled by the system if you let the system control you. why do you even bother if there is a system. There are those that go with the flow and those that go against it. and others know there is a system but don't purposely go against it all the time or go with it. they think about how it would benefit them. yeah its an unfair thing. but remember you have a choice :). you cannot control the situations, yes. but you can control the consequences :).

plus. didn't neo have a choice too. blue pill or red pill. :). but its curiously. that killed the cat :).

and it is this sense of apprehension that makes like all the more interesting :). otherwise. it would be SO boring <3.
